I’m Kathy Winslow, and I have the privilege of bringing Just Between Friends to our community each season through the JBF OKC kids’ consignment sale. In Oklahoma City, I help families navigate the constant cycle of kids outgrowing clothes, shoes, toys, books, and baby gear without overspending or letting perfectly good items go to waste.
Like so many moms, I know exactly what it feels like to turn around and realize your child has suddenly outgrown everything. One season it’s baby gear and bassinets, and the next it’s bigger clothes, toys, bikes, and books. It can feel never-ending.
For our family, discovering Just Between Friends changed everything. Instead of closets overflowing with things my kids no longer needed, I found a way to turn those items into cash and use that money to buy what was next. It took away the stress of constantly buying new and gave me confidence that I could provide what my family needed without breaking the budget.
For me, this is about so much more than a sale. It’s about helping families create space in their homes, put money back in their pockets, and feel confident saying yes to the next stage of childhood. That’s why Just Between Friends matters so much to me because I’ve lived it too.
